Original Shubb C1b Capo in plain, unplated brass finish. Its surface will darken with time. The Shubb C1 is for steel string guitars and fits most acoustics and electrics. For one thing, its ingenious design: a patented locking action which provides an unrivalled combination of power, speed, accuracy and ease of use. One smooth flip of the lever locks it securely in place... and removes it just as quickly. And the Shubb capo doesn't create tuning problems. Its soft, resilient rubber is specially designed to work just like a fingertip, so it doesn't bend the strings over the frets. Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no re-tuning is necessary! Precisely machined of brass and carefully hand assembled, a Shubb capo is manufactured without compromise. Simply holding one in your hand conveys a sense of quality. Snapping it solidly onto a guitar neck, and then removing it, all within about one second, will confirm its reputation for excellence.

About us
Edinburgh Music centre is the expansion of Brass and Woodwind musical instrument restoration and repair est 2002.
Having studied orchestral instrument restoration in 1995 for 3 years and a further 4 years apprenticeship, I opened Brass and woodwind in a small workshop in south west Edinburgh.
We have grown and now have 3 workshops for brass woodwind and string instruments, along with chemical and ultrasonic cleaning room and a pro polishing room, I believe it to be the finest and best equipped musical instrument restoration workshop in the UK.
We have built a showroom for the huge range of instruments we have restored over the years and now offer a large selection of new and fully reconditioned instruments.
