Professional Guitar & Bass Repairs at Edinburgh Music Centre

Your instrument deserves expert hands — not guesswork.

At Edinburgh Music Centre, we take pride in offering professional, reliable, and affordable guitar and bass repairs, all carried out in our fully equipped, professional workshop by experienced technicians who know their craft.

Not all guitar repairs are created equal. There's a world of difference between entrusting your prized instrument to a properly equipped, experienced professional and handing it over to someone working from their kitchen table who's simply "having a go."

Your guitar is an investment, and whether it's worth £200 or £5,000, it deserves to be treated with the same level of care, skill, and respect. Be careful who you trust with your instrument — experience, proper tools, and a professional working environment really do matter.

With over 25 years of experience, our skilled technicians have the expertise, specialist equipment, and genuine passion to ensure your instrument plays, feels, and sounds its absolute best.

From a simple restring or routine setup to complex repairs and modifications, every job receives the same meticulous attention to detail. Our services include fretwork, electronics repairs, hardware upgrades, neck adjustments, pickup installations, and complete custom setups, using quality components and tried-and-tested professional techniques.

We work on acoustic, electric, and bass guitars of all makes and models, offering efficient turnaround times, honest advice, competitive pricing, and workmanship you can rely on.

We also understand that no two players — or instruments — are exactly alike. That's why we offer personalised setups tailored to your individual playing style, preferences, and requirements.

Why take chances with your instrument?

When you choose Edinburgh Music Centre, you're choosing decades of hands-on experience, a dedicated professional workshop, and technicians who take genuine pride in their work.
