The Vintage ReIssued Series V6LB combines the very best of time-served aesthetics and forward-thinking design ingenuity. A trio of Wilkinson WVS Alnico V pickups give the guitar the perfect balance between scorching highs, rich mids and plummy low end, just what you'd expect from a guitar of this nature. The Wilkinson vibrato bridge, meanwhile, features an innovative stagger-drilled block which radically improves the guitar's intonation, whilst maintaining incredible return-to-pitch accuracy.

V6 Features:
Body:
American Alder body provides resonance, tone and âcorrect weightâ comfort, enhanced with correctly radiused contoured body.
Vibrato:
The Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge featured on the Vintage V6 is a masterpiece of detail. Positive location, 6 screw design provides return to pitch accuracy; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and âsnapâ. Ground base plate corner provides authentic looks. Stagger drilled cast block significantly enhances return to pitch accuracy and classic vintage tone. The âpush-inâ delrin-bushed arm with variable tension provides the arm feel that suits your style.
Pickups:
Balanced set of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, with staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces, for authentic tone and contemporary power. Reverse wound, reverse polarity centre pickup provides hum cancelling in switch position 2 and 4.Â
Controls:
Single master Volume control with Tone control 1 for the neck and middle pickup, with 'Custom Mod' Tone control 2 for bridge pickup. Five-way selector switch.
Machine Heads:
Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok machine heads. Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability. Staggered string post heights provide correct string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
Neck:
Hard rock Maple with classic Vintage âsoft Câ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel.
Fingerboard:
Rosewood for outstanding tonal transfer, responsiveness and durability with a traditional 10â radius for superb playability and feel.
Scale Length:
25.5" / 648mm.
Frets:
22 Medium profile frets add to comfort, accuracy and overall positive feel of the Vintage V6.

Founded in 2002 by Bryce Ferguson, Edinburgh Music Centre began as Brass and Woodwind â a small, specialist workshop in southwest Edinburgh dedicated to professional-grade instrument care.
With a four-year apprenticeship and over two decades of hands-on experience, Bryce developed expertise in brass, woodwind, and string instrument repair and restoration. His vision: to create a centre where musicians could rely on world-class service, personal care, and honest advice.
Today, Edinburgh Music Centre has grown into one of the UKâs best-equipped and most trusted instrument workshops, serving students, educators, orchestras, and professionals across Scotland and beyond.

Our Workshops
Having studied orchestral instrument restoration in 1995 for 3 years and a further 4 years apprenticeship, I opened Brass and woodwind in a small workshop in south west Edinburgh.
We have grown and now have 3 workshops for brass woodwind and string instruments, along with chemical and ultrasonic cleaning room and a pro polishing room, I believe it to be the finest and best equipped musical instrument restoration workshop in the UK.
