The Vintage ReIssued V100 solid bodied electric guitar, is now available installed with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, constructed from die cast aluminium, for maximum sustain and superior tonal quality.  

This best selling model in a gorgeous translucent Flamed Amber colour highlights the heavily figured tiger striped, flame maple top, offset with contrasting controls, pickups and surrounds.   

The detailed appointments that have made this model popular with guitar players around the world remain, including the unique, evolutionary shaped, bound mahogany body, with its graceful descending bass side shoulder and the ingeniously-designed offset heel, providing improved access to the upper reaches of the fretboard. 

Needless to say with a bound mahogany body, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard, the Vintage ReIssued V100 offers superior playability and the perfect tonewood combination that’s enhanced by a pair of uncovered Wilkinson MVHZ Double Coils provide this iconic looking electric guitar with enough power to handle any high-gained situation. 

Grover Deluxe tulip machine heads provide smooth, effective action, whilst a Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic bridge enables fine-tuning of each string for superb intonation all over the fretboard, whilst a set of chrome straplocks ensure that your guitar stays safe and secure, no matter how low slung you like to wear it. 

V100 with Bigsby Features 

Body:
Two piece centre jointed mahogany body, with carved solid maple cap and bookmatched flame maple veneer provides resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort. The Vintage V100 features a unique, evolutionary body shape, with a graceful descending bass side shoulder and an ingeniously-designed offset heel providing improved access to the upper reaches of the fretboard. 

 Bridge: 
Wilkinson T.O.M. enables fine-tuning of each string for superb intonation all over the fretboard. 

Pickups: 
Pair of uncovered Wilkinson MWVHZ Double Coils for raw power. 
 
Controls: 
Twin master Volume and Tone controls with three-way pickup selector switch. 
 
Machine heads: 
Wilkinson WJ44 machine heads provide simple, effective action for maximum tuning stability. 

Vibrato tailpiece:
Bigsby constructed from die cast aluminium, for maximum sustain and superior tonal quality. 
 
Neck: 
One piece Mahogany with classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel. 
 
Fingerboard: 
Rosewood for outstanding tonal transfer, responsiveness and durability with a traditional 12” radius for superb playability and feel.

Frets: 
22 Medium Jumbo profile frets add to comfort, accuracy and overall positive feel of the Vintage V100.

Edinburgh Music centre is the expansion of Brass and Woodwind musical instrument restoration and repair est 2002.

Having studied orchestral instrument restoration in 1995 for 3 years and a further 4 years apprenticeship, I opened Brass and woodwind in a small workshop in south west Edinburgh.

We have grown and now have 3 workshops for brass woodwind and string instruments, along with chemical and ultrasonic cleaning room and a pro polishing room, I believe it to be the finest and best equipped musical instrument restoration workshop in the UK.

We have built a showroom for the huge range of instruments we have restored over the years and now offer a large selection of new and fully reconditioned instruments.
