About us

Founded in 2002 by Bryce Ferguson, Edinburgh Music Centre began as Brass and Woodwind — a small, specialist workshop in southwest Edinburgh dedicated to professional-grade instrument care.

With a four-year apprenticeship and over two decades of hands-on experience, Bryce developed expertise in brass, woodwind, and string instrument repair and restoration. His vision: to create a centre where musicians could rely on world-class service, personal care, and honest advice.

Today, Edinburgh Music Centre has grown into one of the UK’s best-equipped and most trusted instrument workshops, serving students, educators, orchestras, and professionals across Scotland and beyond.
